What is PC Pro? 

PC Pro is a high-quality, all-in-one e-learning curriculum that is easy to use and will provide instructors with the hands-on training needed to prepare students for an IT career. Hosted on the online TestOut learning platform, LabSim, it provides a comprehensive experience and hours of content for training practical skills through interactive learning modules. Instructional lessons are combined with instructor-led videos, demonstrations, quizzes, practice exams, and performance-based lab simulations to provide hours of content to prepare students for the CompTIA A+ certification exams Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102).

LabSim is ideal for learning computer technology in a variety of classroom formats; self-paced, in person, online, hybrid, and flipped. As an online resource, it also works with PCs, Macs, laptops, and Chrome books.

There are two options for adding students to your LabSim campus setup.

Classroom Setup with Activation Code

1. You will receive student activation code(s) via email upon purchase.
2. CompTIA will setup your campus and administrator access to LabSim, provide you with instructions for adding instructors, and communicate your student registration instructions within 1 business day of purchase.
3. You will distribute activation codes and registration instructions to students.
4. After registration students may login anytime at: https://labsimapp.testout.com

Classroom Setup with Student Upload

1. CompTIA will setup your campus and administrator access to LabSim, as well as the specific number of student seats purchased, within 1 business day of purchase.
2. As the administrator, you will add students to the platform either individually or by uploading a csv file, or enable students to create their own LabSim account by creating a reservation link you will provide them.
3. You will also add additional administrators (if necessary) as well as instructors.
4. Students will login or click on the link to register.
5. After registration, students may login anytime at: https://labsimapp.testout.com
